My Real-Life Routine to Boost Energy, Confidence & Focus Before 9AM (Before 2026 Hits)
Okay, real talk:
I am not one of those people who wakes up at 4:30AM, drinks warm lemon water, journals for two hours, does a cold plunge, and claims it’s “so grounding.”
Nope. Not my ministry.
I’m a normal (busy) gal running two companies ( not alone) , planning dream trips, coaching women, building a global lifestyle empire, and trying to keep my body and brain functioning before 9AM.
So I had to create a morning routine that:
• actually gives me energy
• doesn’t take forever
• feels fun
• and helps me start the day as the BEST version of me
And honestly?
This little routine changed everything - my mood, my focus, my energy, my confidence.
It’s simple, doable, and perfect for high performers, travel advisors, entrepreneurs, moms, and anyone who wants to start 2026 strong.
Here’s my Frankly Morning Reset Ritual -
Step 1: I Pray.
....Then I Set the Rhythm With Music Before Anything Else!
Before I open a single email, Alexa knows the assignment.
Some mornings it’s:
• cozy coffee-house music (slow + soft start to life)
Other mornings:
• salsa (spicy, fiery, “I need to wake up NOW” energy)
And lately?
You will catch me starting my day with Gloria Estefan’s “Get On Your Feet or any of her songs gets me excited, I always loved her energy.”
That song should honestly come with a warning label because the level of energy it gives?Unmatched.
It’s how I tell my brain:
“We’re alive, awake, and choosing our mood today.”
Music is one of the easiest ways to regulate your nervous system — which every high performer needs.
Step 2: I Dance to ONE Song — Because That’s All It Takes
I give myself 1–3 minutes.
Just one song.
No choreography.
No trying to look cute.
Just me and the rhythm.
It:
• wakes up your body
• boosts your dopamine
• shakes off stress
• unlocks confidence
• puts you in your power
It’s like flipping an internal switch from “zombie” to “let’s go.”
And honestly?
It’s fun.
We forget adults need fun in the morning too.
Step 3: I Dry Brush Like I’m Brushing Off Yesterday’s Energy

It:
• boosts circulation
• brightens your skin
• wakes up your whole body
• helps you feel lighter and fresher
• gets rid of that “groggy” feeling
It literally feels like brushing off yesterday’s stress — physically and energetically.
A tiny ritual that makes a big difference.
Step 4: My Busy-Girl Hack — 20-Minute Stretch With Weights
When I don’t have time for a full workout (aka… most days), I do a quick 20-minute stretch with light weights.
It’s honestly a game changer.
It:
• opens your body
• builds strength
• releases tension
• boosts confidence
• gives you that “I took care of myself today” feeling
You don’t need an hour at the gym.
You just need a smart 15- 20 minutes.
High performers LOVE efficiency — this is efficient energy.
Step 5: When I Want Something Softer + Feminine → Melissa Wood Pilates
Melissa Wood Pilates is my go-to when my body needs more of a slower wake up pace. I want to feel softer, calmer, and more connected.
Her flows are:
• gentle
• intentional
• lengthening
• grounding
• low-impact
• but STILL so effective
It’s the perfect “slow morning” movement for days when I want my body to feel good without intensity.
